Cheque

17.5.07

St Barbís Playgroup will be smiling all the way to the bank after being presented with a $1000 cheque from Alliance One Credit Union.
The cheque was the fulfilment of a grant bestowed by Alliance Oneís Community Partnerships Program, which provides funding to community groups and non-profit organisations which are seeking to continue or upgrade existing services.
ìOur aim for the program is to support vital community services in the region,î Alliance One Credit Union Chief Executive, Phil Lynch said.
ìFunding provided to St Barbaraís Playgroup will assist in ensuring that young children in Roxby Downs will continue to play and learn in a fun and safe environment.î
Roxbyís own Alliance One Credit Union Manager, Liz Rogers presented the cheque to Sister Pat and the Playgroup Coordinators last week.
ìThe St Barbaraís Playgroup would like to thank Alliance One for their support,î Playgroup Coordinator, Jakkie McArdle said.
